The ice is set. The concession stands have been fully stocked. Your jersey has been unfolded from the bowels of your closet and washed.
Finally, it's time to say goodbye to your husband, wife, children, family and/or non-hockey watching friends. Hopefully you won't have to reacquaint yourself until at least June. The couple of summer months you spent with them were great, but it's time to rejoin your real family.
