The Nashville Predators have long been one of the more underrated hockey clubs in the NHL. Gliding just below honest mainstream media coverage even when they’re one game away from the Western Conference Finals- it’s simply one of the side effects of being planted in a small market. But the Nashville Predators have flourished.
The team is on the heels of the deepest postseason run in franchise history, taking the eventual Stanley Cup contender San Jose Sharks to a Game 7 second-round matchup. Much of the success has stemmed from a turnaround in team philosophy by the offensively-minded Head Coach Peter Laviolette, who has led the Nashville Predators to the playoffs in both years of his two-year tenure in Smashville.
