Nashville Predators GM David Poile has to decide what he wants to do with Eric Nystrom in a very short window of time. He had said in his season ending Press Conference that the team would be parting ways.
He actually has three choices but none of them are exactly easy. The best alternative for the Nashville Predators would be a trade. That way the Predators wouldn’t have to retain any of Eric Nystrom’s $3 million salary or $2.5 million cap hit for next season.
As he told Adam Vingan of the Tennessean:
“It has to happen pretty soon,” Poile said.
