In the wake of the Predators unfortunate Game 6 loss, it’s time we turn our attention to pick #30 of the NHL Draft. The Predators are in a good place with their prospect depth and could take the true “Best Player Available”. However, since the Predators seemed to hit big on defensemen in each of the first three rounds of last year’s draft, it is likely they will look towards grabbing a forward to improve their forward prospect depth. Keep in mind, none of the players that will be available at the Predators pick will be able to jump right into the NHL and contribute.
