Former Nashville Predators backup goalie, Carter Hutton moved on to the St. Louis Blues after being the primary backup in Nashville for three seasons.
He will now be the primary backup for the St. Louis Blues behind Jake Allen. The Blues were known to have a two goalie rotation between Allen and Brian Elliot before Elliot was traded to the Calgary Flames on Entry Draft Day for pick #35 in the draft.
The 30-year old Hutton was looking for more playing time after playing behind the sturdy Pekka Rinne who has played the third most games in the league over the past two seasons.
