The Predators may not admit it. They definitely won’t say it. But the way they played Saturday night in Bridgestone Arena showed this team was out for revenge.
The first period was uneventful. Both teams had a few scoring chances but not much going on. Ryan Ellis got the Preds on the board first with two seconds before the period ended.
The second period was an offensive explosion. Viktor “Superman” Arvidsson won a face off and set up James Neal for his fourth goal in as many games to extend the Preds lead to 2-0.
