After dropping a game to Detroit in overtime last night, the Predators squared off against the Canadiens in the Bell Centre tonight.
The teams traded chances early in the first, but both Montreal netminder Carey Price and Nashville’s Juuse Saros were up to the task. It was none other than P.K. Subban who set up Craig Smith for Nashville’s first goal of the game. Mattias Ekholm added another for the Predators with 35 seconds remaining in the first period.
The Predators were the first team to the power play around midway through the second period.
