After the Predators struggled to even take a shot on net, P.K. Subban opened the scoring for Nashville with 2:24 remaining in the first period. With a little over a minute left, Viktor Arvidsson and Jonathan Ericsson were sent to the penalty box. Neither team was able to capitalize while 4-on-4.
