Tonight’s game was an oddly balanced affair.
- Juuse Saros played again tonight, despite having also played yesterday.
- It opened with a fight between Luke Schenn and Marcus Foligno. After that, the teams traded penalties — and power-play goals. The Preds’ excellent PK isn’t perfect, after all.
- Declan Chisholm scored for Minnesota with just over a minute left in the first, and the Preds’ Fedor Svechkov scored his first NHL goal with 21 seconds left to tie it up going in to first intermission.
- During the second period, Ryan O’Reilly gave the Preds a lead with a power-play goal at 2:29, but Kirill Kaprizov tied it again on a Wild power play at 8:24.
