The Nashville Predators have announced that forward Mike Fisher has been placed on injured reserve, and will miss four games. He will be reevaluated after that time.

Fisher apparently suffered the injury last night when he fell to the ice attempting to carry the puck away from Arizona's Martin Hanzal. The 35-year-old center was slow to get up, limped off the ice and immediately to the dressing room, and did not return for the rest of the game.
