The Preds’ homestand didn’t start off on a high note, but they have a new chance to entertain their fans tonight when they take on the Vegas Golden Knights.
Jack Eichel missed Sunday’s game due to illness, and he’ll be a big loss for the Knights if he’s still out today. He leads the team with 43 assists and 54 points, but that’s almost certainly because Mark Stone missed 14 games earlier this season. In addition to remaining an incredibly strong play driver, Stone has 38 points (12G/26A) in the 29 games he’s played.
Most of the Knights’ scoring has been by committee; young Pavel Dorofyev is the team’s goalscoring leader with 16, with Ivan Barbashev and Brett Howden right behind him with 15 each.
