The Predators are back for another matinee meetup after yesterday morning’s win against the Columbus Blue Jackets, while the Wild are looking to rebound from a couple of losses.
It’s only been four games since they last met, but the trade deadline has come and gone, with the Preds making some additions–including former long-time Wild Jason Zucker–and the Wild starting to sell. Honestly, they’re probably better off without Pat Maroon, sent to Boston for a conditional sixth-rounder; he wasn’t doing much for them.
Minnesota still brings a strong defense and power play paired with weak offense and goaltending, and Kirill Kaprizov is still lighting up the goal light, and his opponents, on the regular.
