The Nashville Predators head east to take on the Ottawa Senators today. Both teams are looking to bounce back from a stinging loss–the Sens’ last outing was a 7-2 thumping by the New York Rangers, but, since the NHL has gotten rid of ties, only one will be able to do so.
Tim Stützle leads the Sens in points, with 45, and assists, with 35. The goals leader is Brady Tkachuk, with 20. Claude Giroux has been a key offensive player, leading the team in primary assists and coming in second in overall points (he has 41). Stützle has benefited significantly from playing with the other two, who are fantastic offensive play-drivers–especially Tkachuk–but of late Josh Norris has been the third forward on the top line instead in many games.
