The Nashville Predators return home after an unsatisfactory road trip that saw their offense continuing to struggle.
Juuse Saros turned in a couple of great performances with no reward, and the team’s star players have expressed frustration and an acknowledgement that they’re not performing as they — or the coaching staff — expects. The trip also saw Dante Fabbro waived (and claimed off waivers), in another attempt to solve whatever ails the Preds. It didn’t work.
Upon returning home, the Preds will face a Winnipeg Jets team that’s at the top of the Central. They’ve only lost three games so far this season and have won most of their recent games by a very comfortable margin.
