I have lots of thoughts on this article. First, I would much rather see Tolvanen in the AHL than in the KHL. Of course the "ten games in the AHL probably leads to the KHL" clause does complicate things a bit. I have to look at it this way, the AHL assignment prevents the Preds from burning a year of the ELC. If Eeli Tolvanen will find the kind of success he needs to make it in the NHL this year, he'll show it in Milwaukee within 10 games.
