Cowboy signal-caller Sean Chambers, whose season has ended due to injury in each of the last few seasons, has been named one of the most recent nominees for this year’s 2021 Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Award. Three players were given the honor of being nominated just recently alongside Chambers, including Florida State Quarterback Mckenzie Milton and Kentucky Linebacker J.J. Weaver.
There are only ten times over the course of a season where three courageous student-athletes are selected by writers and editors from AP, CoSIDA and Touchdown Illustrated, to be nominated for the prestigious Comeback Player of the Year award.
