The Nevada Wolf Pack seek a bounce back victory over the San Diego Aztecs Saturday at 6 p.m. PST at Viejas Arena in San Diego, Calif.
The Aztecs took the first of the two-game series 65-60, ending the game on a 7-0 run. They were led by Matt Mitchell, who tallied 20 points, including 18 in the second half. Nevada’s Grant Sherfield posted team-highs in points (22), rebounds (5), assists (4) and steals (2).
Nevada has lost 10 straight games in Viejas Arena, which dates back to 1998. It has also lost seven of the last eight against SDSU, including four straight.
