UNLV left Ann Arbor on Saturday afternoon still in search of the first win of the Tony Sanchez era, dropping to 0-3 following a 28-7 loss to the Michigan Wolverines.
While the Rebels aptly defended the pass against Michigan on Saturday, it was the Wolverine ground game that shredded UNLV. The Wolverines tallied up 254 rushing yards, including 118 on 8 carries from Ty Isaac. That includes a 76 yard touchdown run from Isaac that pushed the Michigan lead to 21-0 midway through the second quarter.
UNLV definitely did some good things for a team mostly without an identity and undergoing so much change throughout the program.
