Tony Sanchez is not going to be happy with the performance from his team on Saturday night.
The UNLV Rebels (1-3) dug themselves an early hole against the Idaho Vandals (2-2) at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, and were shocked by their opponent from the Sun Belt, 33-30 in overtime.
The Rebels got the ball first in OT and settled for a 23 yard field goal from Evan Pantels. The Vandals needed 5 plays to cement the upset with a Callen Hightower 11 yard touchdown reception.
Entering the game as two touchdown underdogs Idaho jumped out to a 7-0 lead when Kaden Elliss returned an interception from UNLV quarterback Johnny Stanton 31 yards for a touchdown.
