UNLV junior forward Dwayne Morgan was suspended indefinitely from all basketball activities on Wednesday following his arrest for an alleged altercation with a cab driver over cab fare early Saturday morning.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Morgan, 21, was charged with disorderly conduct.
“We are aware of the situation regarding UNLV men’s basketball student-athlete Dwayne Morgan,” UNLV athletics department stated, “and are continuing to gather all of the facts. Coach (Marvin) Menzies has met with Dwayne and he has been suspended indefinitely from all basketball activities.”
Marvin Menzies has met with Morgan about incident and Morgan will remain suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.
