The San Jose State coaching search has come to an end as San Jose State has hired Oregon State’s outside receivers coach Brent Brennan, per John Canzano of the Oregonian.
Brennan will replace Ron Caragher, who was fired at the end of this past season and had a four year record of 19-30 with the Spartans and appeared in one bowl game.
Brennan, who earns his first head-coaching job, has been at Oregon State since 2011 and prior to that he spent five seasons at San Jose State. As a Spartans coach he had many roles which included offensive coordinator and coaching the tight ends, wide receivers, offensive lineman and special teams.
