The San Jose State Spartans ended the 2016-17 NCAA men’s basketball season with a 74-62 loss to the Wyoming Cowboys at Arena-Auditorium on Saturday afternoon.
The Spartans trailed by one point early in the game. Then, Brandon Clarke was all over the place, applying offensive pressure on the Cowboys. SJSU took a 13-11 lead over Wyoming at 11:51 of the first half.
However, the Cowboys responded, taking a 29-28 lead with 4:21 left in the half.
The Spartans received plenty of chances, but were unable to capitalize on them. Brandon Mitchell seemed upset after collecting a pass underneath the rim that went past his fingers.
