Brandon Clarke scored a career-high 36 points on 16-of-22 shooting, adding five rebounds, assists and blocks, as the San Jose State Spartans outlasted the Air Force Falcons at Clune Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The Spartans maintained a good pace in the opening minutes of the first half. Glizzy Williams scored six points early in the game, contributing to a close 15-14 lead at 14:28. Cody Schwartz connected on his first two shots of the game and both teams were tied 18-18 at 11:53.
Clarke got in the mix, scoring eight points on 4-of-5 shooting by the 7:49 mark.
