The San Jose State Spartans beat the Air Force Falcons 83-78 in overtime at the Event Center Saturday afternoon.
The Spartans edged the Falcons 89-85 in the first meeting of the season. However, this time around, San Jose State found themselves trailing in the first half and were unable to make a substantial comeback.
The Falcons’ offense smothered the Spartans in the first half. Brandon Clarke scored six consecutive points to cut the Falcons’ lead to 20-14 at 9:53. Air Force held their largest lead of the game, 39-26, over SJSU late in the half.
