The Aztecs only managed two hits in their second game of the Tony Gwynn Classic
SAN DIEGO, CA -- There has been a lot of offensive firepower on display at the Tony Gwynn Classic this weekend. Unfortunately for San Diego State fans, the Aztecs have not been taking part in that.
A day after scoring just two runs and having six hits against the Bryant Bulldogs, the San Diego State Aztecs followed that up with a two-hit, shutout performance against the Kentucky Wildcats, dropping SDSU to 0-2 in the tournament in honor of their former player and coach.
