According to a report from the Denver Post, Colorado State head coach Larry Eustachy has resigned from the university, amid the school’s recent investigation into his “behavior with players, coaches, and other staff members”.
Over the past few weeks, Eustachy was placed on administrative leave by the school, as was associate head coach Steve Barnes, who were both pegged as key figures in creating the “culture of fear and intimidation” that was prevalent over the past few seasons at Colorado State. Despite leaving on shaky ground, Eustachy and the school’s athletic department have agreed to settlement deal, in which the sixth-year head coach will receive $750,000 to “leave his contract”.
