Pacers' Paul George Suffers Leg Bruise

Forward suffers injury in third quarter and doesn't return to home win.

Indiana Pacers All-Star forward Paul George sustained a lower right leg contusion in the third quarter and did not return to Thursday’s 92-84 home win over the New Orleans Pelicans at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

While George is listed as day-to-day with the calf bruise, head coach Frank Vogel suggested the injury isn’t serious.

“He’s moving around,” Vogel said. “He’ll be OK.”

Added George, "I just got kneed. Nothing too serious hopefully."

George suffered a compound fracture of his lower right leg in August 2014 and missed all but six games last season.
