For the first time since Jordan Gross retired, the Carolina Panthers will have the same starting left tackle to start the season in consecutive years with the return of Michael Oher. The free agent signing last offseason has been able to provide stability to the left tackle position on the Panthers' offensive line.
The Carolina Panthers lost a major piece to their offense after the 2013 season when former Pro Bowl left tackle Jordan Gross retired. The team tried to replace him with Byron Bell in 2014; however, he struggled at the position and the offense in turn struggled.
