NIT scores: San Diego State advances, beats Washington 93-78

San Diego State may have been snubbed from NCAA Tournament, but don't tell their fans that. SDSU fans packed Viejas Arena to watch their San Diego State Aztecs take on the Washington Huskies in the second round of the NIT. San Diego State came out on top, 93-78.

San Diego State took full advantage of the home court energy. They were led by their senior forward Winston Shepard, with 20 points, 10 boards, and four assists. The Aztecs's most incredible (and perhaps most telling) statistic of the night was that six individuals scored in double digits–which explains the 93-point performance.
