The New Mexico Lobos men’s basketball team will not open the season when originally scheduled. The Mountain West Conference announced Monday afternoon that the season-opening series between the Lobos and Boise State Broncos, slated for December 3rd and 5th, has been postponed and no new dates have been announced.
With the Lobos next game scheduled to take place on December 31st, there is a great possibility that the Lobos and Broncos will reschedule the series prior to then.
New Mexico just recently relocated to Texas in order to practice. The current state health order prevented the Lobos from doing such in New Mexico.
