Late Friday night, the New Mexico Lobos parted ways with head coach Craig Neal and now it is time to take a look at what coaches could be a fit to replace Neal. First off, we need to start with the amount of money that the Lobos could offer.
Neal was earning $300,000 annually in base pay but overall he was earning $950,000 per year. As part of his contract, New Mexico will owe Neal $1 million for firing him and the reason the move happened prior to April 1 is because the Lobos would owe what was left on his base salary.
