Nevada wide receiver Elijah Cooks will miss the remainder of the season with a Lisfranc foot injury, Nevada Sports Net’s Chris Murray reported Monday.
Cooks, a “super senior”, was the only Pack player with multiple touchdown catches through three games with four. He was also top-4 on the team receptions (13), receiving yards (157) and yards per reception (12.1). His four touchdowns trailed only Fresno State’s Jalen Cropper (8) for the Mountain West’s lead.
Cooks, standing at 6-foot-4, was one of the Wolf Pack’s top pass catchers entering the 2021 season — along with Romeo Doubs and Cole Turner.
