Nevada-New Mexico moved Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas

The Mountain West Conference has announced Thursday that the Nevada-New Mexico game, originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, will be moved to Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev.

In preparation for their contest this weekend, the Lobos have been practicing in Sam Boyd Stadium since Monday.

The game was moved due to current state health orders in New Mexico, the scheduled home team, due to COVID-19 — which prohibited groups of five-plus people. It will be a neutral-site game where New Mexico is labeled as the host.

The game will not have any fans in attendance.
