The final scholarship for the Nevada men’s basketball team was filled Friday.
The Wolf Pack landed Wichita State transfer Trey Wade, re-uniting with former Shocker teammate Grant Sherfield — who earned first-team All-Mountain West honorees in first season of eligibility with Nevada last year. The commitment was announced via Wade’s twitter page.
Prior to his last two seasons at Wichita State, Wade, a 6-foot-6 wing, spent one year at South Plains College in 2018-19 and two more with UTEP from 2016-18 (redshirted 2016-17). He has one season of eligibility remaining.
In his last two seasons with Wichita State, he averaged 7.
