The third matchup between the #6 seed Colorado State Rams and the #3 seed Boise State Broncos lived up to the hype. After 17 lead changes, the Rams were able to seal the win with a late three-pointer by redshirt senior guard Antwan Scott to advance to the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference tournament.
The two regular season games between the Rams and Broncos were decided by a grand total of eight points. This one would be decided by seven but was arguably the toughest of the three match-ups. The teams went into halftime tied at 45 and were tied again at 77 with 3:49 left to go in the second half.
