New Mexico won the battle for first place as they swept Fresno State at home to distance themselves from all the others. It will matter little if they don't continue the winning and win the conference tournament.

Things were a little cluttered at the top of the standings. In fact, Fresno State and New Mexico were tied for the lead heading into the weekend and a big showdown between the two best teams in the conference. The games were close but the Lobos swept to move three games up.
