The Mountain West closed out its regular season this weekend and things went mostly as expected.
Boise State finished conference play undefeated, for the first time ever, and becoming the second MWC team to ever do so. Air Force also found itself in the win column this weekend, taking care of a good Wyoming team pretty easily. With that final win, the Falcons ended up ranked in both polls, something that has been long overdue in the second half of the season.
Both teams benefitted from Cincinnati and Michigan, while Air Force gained ground partly due to the Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech losses.
