With the season underway, you will start to see some of our weekly posts. “Players of the Week” will be one of those. Typically I will take a variety of things into account before voting (especially during non-conference games). I will look at the quality of the opponent along with overall performance. I’m going to give a quarterback with 300 yards against a good Power 5 team the nod over a quarterback with 400 yards against an FCS foe. With that being said, week zero was a bit harder to do when the only team with a quality opponent got throttled.
