The New Mexico Lobos have just added to their quarterback competition. On Tuesday UNM announced that Terry Wilson Jr. was transferring to the program from Kentucky, where Wilson spent three seasons as a quarterback for the Wildcats.
Wilson was 17-8 as the Wildcats starter. He led Kentucky to a 10-3 record in 2018, which was capped with a Citrus Bowl win over Penn State. In 2019, Wilson saw his season cut short when he suffered a knee injury in the second game of the season against Eastern Michigan. Wilson then returned in 2020, leading Kentucky to a 5-5 record and a win over NC State in the Gator Bowl.
