Following a successful three-year stint at San Diego State, former All-American Jamaal Franklin was selected as the 41st overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. However, his transition into the league has not been smooth to say the least.
After playing in 21 games and only averaging 1.9 points per contest, Franklin decided to leave the Grizzlies and play for the Zhejiang Lions in the Chinese Basketball Association. He would return to the NBA for the Denver Nuggets during the 2015 season and only play in three games.
Franklin would then return to the Shanxi Zhongyu Dragons in 2015, averaging 33.
