The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation announced that Hawaii sophomore wide receiver John Ursua is one of the 50 wide receivers on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the top wide receiver in college football.
Ursua posted 667 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns on 47 catches in 2017, despite only playing 6 games after suffering a season-ending knee injury vs. San Jose State. Hawaii is reverting back to the run-and-shoot offense this upcoming fall, and Ursua figures to have a huge season playing in the slot. Keep an eye on the Hawaii wide receiver as a potential dark horse for Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year.
