Former Hawaii head coach June Jones has interest in returning to his former job.
Hawaii's all-time winningest coach could be set on returning to retake the helm once again. June Jones is reportedly going to apply for the vacancy open after the Warriors let go of Norm Chow on Sunday, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
In a phone interview with the newspaper, Jones said that he would apply for the opening but would not elaborate much more on the topic.
I don't want to comment further at this time because the attention should stay on the team now, and hopefully (interim coach) Chris (Naeole) can lead them to some wins down the stretch," Jones said.
