Finally, the Mountain West turned the tables with San Diego State blowing out Cincinnati.
Ever since the Hawaii Bowl was part of the Mountain West bowl lineup, the results have not gone well for the conference. Fresno State was blown out twice, as was Boise State, but San Diego State continued the blowout trend but they were the one's who put the beat down on Cincinnati, winning 42-7.
This game started off with a bang with special teams player of the year, Rashaad Penny, returning the opening kick for a touchdown, and never looked back.
