Glass brings tenacity to Bulldog secondary

Fresno State's last-minute addition of junior college transfer Tyquwan Glass came as a surprise - even more surprising is how his aggressive style of play has landed him immediate playing time.

Coach Tim DeRuyter brought his fast, physical and fanatical defense to Fresno State in 2012, but secondary play has been lacking since the inaugural season. In the final stretch of 2014, the Bulldogs seemed to find a groove at corner by moving Charles Washington from safety to cornerback and adding then-freshman Malcolm Washington into the starting lineup.

It appeared Charles and Malcolm Washington were locks to start at corner in 2015, but both missed significant time in fall camp.
