The Fresno State Bulldogs’ fifth game versus power-five competition in two years was their closest game of the five, but more defensive struggles and missed opportunities kept them from coming anywhere close to an upset.
The perfect opportunity for the Fresno State Bulldogs to begin that upset bid presented itself on the very first play of Saturday’s game, though, when Da’Mari Scott forced a Utah fumble on the opening kickoff.
