When Marvin Menzies was hired last Spring to right the sinking ship that was the UNLV Men’s Basketball program, he inherited a non-conference schedule that was to say the least, brutal. All within the span of a month, it featured tilts with power conference foes TCU and Arizona State. A “neutral” court game against a soon to be Final Four team in Oregon, and match ups with perennial national championship contenders Duke and Kansas.
Needless to say, the 2017-2018 schedule will not be nearly that tough, however it’s definitely going to feature at least one national title contender:
UNLV will host Arizona on December 2nd, 2017 in Las Vegas, per multiple sources.
