The 2017 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT) concluded Saturday night, with four Mountain West seniors participating in the event.
New Mexico’s Tim Williams, Colorado State’s Emmanuel Omogbo, Nevada’s Marcus Marshall and Utah State’s Jalen Moore played in the senior-only tournament in Portsmouth, Virginia over Easter weekend.
Emmanuel Omogbo was named to the all-tournament team after averaging 15.7 points and 11 rebounds in 25.7 minutes of play for the Portsmouth Sports Club-sponsored team. Omogbo was just one rebound shy of notching a double-double in each of the three matchups.
Elsewhere around the tournament, New Mexico forward Tim Williams recorded 14 points and five rebounds in Wednesday’s game, averaging 10 points and 4.
