PULLMAN -- There is a real battle being waged in the middle of the Washington State defensive line right now between Daniel Ekuale and Robert Barber, says d-line coach Joe Salave'a.
Plus, Destiny Vaeao looks ready to start the season today, and Salave'a likes the younger players he has in the mix, a group that includes Hercules Mata'afa, Reggie Coates and Jeremiah Mitchell.
And despite a good-sized component of d-line youth and the need to replace two of three starters in the Cougs' three-man front, Salave'a says this has been the most productive fall camp the d-line has had since he's been in Pullman.
