InsideTheSpartans contributor Andrew Pang recaps the quarterback situation at San Jose State, which had been narrowed down to Joe Gray and Kenny Potter.
On Saturday, the San Jose State Spartans wrapped up fall camp with an 80-play scrimmage. It became more clear that Joe Gray will return as starting quarterback in 2015. However, Gray only completed 7-of-17 passes in his final exam for starting position, and none of the other quarterbacks had much to show. The defense easily exploited the quarterbacks’ subpar play.
After Gray completed his first 4 passes, his passing game slipped.
