2020 was not the season UNLV senior running back Charles Williams was expecting to have after coming off a season in 2019 where he had 1,257 rushing yards, but thanks to the NCAA giving players another year of eligibility due to the pandemic, Williams will get another chance to end his college career on a high note. Williams announced on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that he will capitalize on the additional year and play for UNLV in 2021.
“We’re excited to have Charles return for next season,” UNLV head coach Marcus Arroyo said in a statement on Twitter.
